Part 1: Chapter 7 -School Spirit Day- Hip, Hip Hooray!

Then March came around and I introduced my favorite unit which was Transportation as well as School Spirit Week. The planning and preparation for School Spirit Week is more preparation for the lower grade teacher more than it is for the students. It takes a lot of time to teach young children  to remember a class song and make costumes for school spirit shows. Oh, boy! It was a lot of work! I also got sick with strep throat the week I was started the school spirit projects. Fortunately for me, the ATR who took over my class began the school spirit projects for me while I was recovering. The song that I decided to use was "The Wheels On The Bus". I have to admit, even with all of that hard work, the children looked absolutely adorable and it was a lot of fun to work on the projects and teach them the song together.

no...no blunders...decide what you want them to wear...and tell the parents in time so they will all dress the same...ask Regina to make some kind of hat..flags, banners...with blue and yellow...as they are the school colors....with glitter and  945...the best ...stuff like that..noit sure if you have to do songs or poems..ask Annie..

if you change the words to a song they know it probably would be easier...but i think you should dress them up abit......with hats... or something like that..they would look adorable...or blue and yellow sashes that say 945 with glitter..or something cute like that
